I’m sure most of you are wandering why we have just raised the prices on all Otterbox cases after just lowering them in the previous quarter. Well, here is why.
As of February 1, 2010, Otterbox implemented a Minimum Advertised Price policy for all authorized resellers of their products. In turn, all authorized resellers can only sell Otterbox products for 10% less the the retail price (e.g. Otterbox Defender retails at $49.99…we can sell for $44.99).
This is one of the last things we want to do to our customers, especially during this economy so we have added a few things in with each purchase in order to keep our customers happy:
-Each purchase includes Free Nite Ize S-Biner (as pictured below)
-Free Worldwide Shipping on all Otterbox cases
-Free USPS Priority Mail for Defender Cases (2-3 Days) for US orders)
